The Abuelito apps are made by Inappbot Inc., a private company. They are independent educational tools. We are not a government agency, we do not speak for any agency, we are not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by any agency, and we do not use their seals or logos. Agency names (DMV, USCIS, etc.) are used only to tell you where the official information is.
Official applications are filed only on official websites (ending in .gov), and government forms are free. We will never ask you to pay us for a government filing or to send us official documents.
Abuelito Driving School (driving and CDL)
- We are not the DMV, nor any state Secretary of State, Department of Public Safety or motor vehicle agency, nor the FMCSA.
- Lessons and questions are based on each state's official driver handbook and the CDL manual, which we cite with links. Practice tests are not the official test; real questions may differ.
- Rules, test formats and available languages change. Always check your state's official handbook and your DMV's website (find it at usa.gov).
- Practice helps a lot, but we do not guarantee you will pass the written or road test. When driving, obey the law and never use your phone.
- What we say about documents or requirements (for example, for a CDL) is general information, not legal advice.
Abuelito Citizenship
- We are not USCIS, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or any US government agency. The officers in the mock interview are fictional characters.
- We do not give legal advice and we are not lawyers or "notarios". We don't tell you whether you qualify for citizenship or how to answer for your case. If you have questions about your case (for example, about a Part 9 question on the N-400), talk to an immigration attorney or a Department of Justice accredited representative. The app shows you where to find free or low-cost legal help.
- The 128 (and 100) civics questions and the reading and writing vocabulary are USCIS's public lists. The official, free material is at uscis.gov/citizenship.
- "My N-400" is a private practice: it is not the official form and is never sent to anyone. The official form is filed only at uscis.gov or by mail to USCIS.
- In the mock interview, model answers belong to a character: always answer with your own true information, matching your N-400.

An independent app for learning everyday and workplace English. It is not a government course, does not grant an official certificate, and is not affiliated with any school, test (such as the citizenship test, TOEFL or IELTS) or agency.
