Video lessons · Unit 14: License, insurance and police
If Police Pull You Over
What if you see lights behind you? Grandpa explains it in one minute.
What you'll learn
- Easy, kiddo. Signal, pull to the right somewhere safe, and stop.
- Stay in the car, hands on the wheel. At night, turn on the inside light.
- Wait until they ask, then say: 'They're in the glove box.' No sudden moves.
- Always carry your license, registration, and proof of insurance. No exceptions, not even on Sundays.
- Be respectful and honest. Disagree with the ticket? Handle it later, not on the roadside.
